Day 3-New favourite authors

Hello everyone, today i’m going to talk about new favourite authors that i found in 2017.

I’m happy to say that i discovered two new authors that quickly became my favourite and they are Sarah Maclean and Tessa Dare.

macleanSarah is a leading advocate for the romance genre, speaking widely on its place at the nexus of gender and cultural studies. She is the author of a monthly column for the Washington Post. Her work in support of romance and the women who read it earned her a place on Jezebel.com’s Sheroes list of 2014 and led Entertainment Weekly to call her “gracefully furious.” A graduate of Smith College & Harvard University, Sarah lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.

My favourite books of her are:Nine rules to break when romancing a rake and The day of the duchess.

My favourite quotes by her are:

“Kisses should not leave you satisfied. They should leave you wanting.”
― Sarah MacLeanNine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake

“Temptation turns you. It makes you into something you
never dreamed, it presses you to give up everything you
ever loved, it calls you to sell your soul for one, fleeting
moment.”

A librarian by training and a booklover at heart, Tessa makes her home in Southern California, where she lives with her husband, their two children, and a trio of cosmic kitties.

My favourite books of her are: A week to be wicked and Any duchess will do.

My favourite quotes by her:

“He kissed her. Without warning, without permission. Without even deciding to do it, but simply because he couldn’t have done anything else. He needed that breath she was holding. It belonged to him, and he wanted it back.”
― Tessa DareOne Dance with a Duke

“This explains so much,” she said, clucking her tongue in mother-hen fashion. “You’re compensating for this withered appendage.”
Withered appendage? What the devil was she talking about? He shook his head, trying to clear it. Colin’s dire predictions of shriveled twigs and dried currants rattled in his skull. Wide awake now, he fought to sit up, wrestling the sheets.
“Listen, you. I don’t know what sort of liberties you’ve taken while I was insensible, or just what your spinster imagination prepared you to see. But I’ll have you know, that water was damned cold.”
She blinked at him. “I’m referring to your leg.”
“Oh.” His leg. That withered appendage”
― Tessa DareA Night to Surrender

What do you guys think?Do you like any of their books?

See you again tomorrow for day 4 of december book challenge.

Hope you have a wonderful day,

Eveline
